²⁴ He will hand their kings over to you, and you shall blot out their name from under heaven; no one will be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.^(A)

⁹ For the Lord has driven out before you great and strong nations, and as for you, no one has been able to withstand you to this day.^(A)

⁸ The Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have handed them over to you; not one of them shall stand before you.”^(A)

⁵ No one shall be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.^(A)

²⁵ No one will be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the fear and dread of you on all the land on which you set foot, as he promised you.^(A)

⁴² Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time because the Lord God of Israel fought for Israel.^(A)

²⁴ When they brought the kings out to Joshua, Joshua summoned all the Israelites and said to the chiefs of the warriors who had gone with him, “Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings.” Then they came near and put their feet on their necks.^{(A) 25} And Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid or dismayed; be strong and courageous, for thus the Lord will do to all the enemies against whom you fight.”^(B)

¹⁴ Let me alone that I may destroy them and blot out their name from under heaven, and I will make of you a nation mightier and more numerous than they.’^(A)

⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

³⁷ No, in all these things we are more than victorious through him who loved us.^(A)
