⁶ And you must think constantly about these commandments I am giving you today. ⁷ You must teach them to your children and talk about them when you are at home or out for a walk; at bedtime and the first thing in the morning.

⁶ Teach a child to choose the right path, and when he is older, he will remain upon it.

¹⁹ And you husbands must be loving and kind to your wives and not bitter against them nor harsh.

⁸ Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love makes up for many of your faults.^[a]
