^23 (A)I have sworn by Myself;
The ^(B)word has gone out from My mouth in righteousness
And will not turn back,
That to Me ^(C)every knee will bow, every tongue will ^(D)swear allegiance.

¹⁶ Because the one who ^[a]is blessed on the earth
Will ^[b]be blessed by the ^(A)God of truth;
And the one who swears an oath on the earth
Will ^(B)swear by the God of truth;
Because the former troubles are forgotten,
And because they are hidden from My sight!
