⁷ Thou shalt have no other gods ^[a]before me.

⁴ Hear, O Israel: ^[a]Jehovah our God is one Jehovah:

⁸ I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise unto graven images.

⁹ And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.

²⁹ Jesus answered, The first is, ^[a]Hear, O Israel; ^[b]The Lord our God, the Lord is one:

⁶ yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we through him.
