24 And you said, ‘Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and (A)greatness, and (B)we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen God speak with man, and man (C)still live. 25 Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. (D)If we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, we shall die. 26 (E)For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of fire as we have, and has still lived?

Today we have seen that a person can live even if God speaks with them.(C) 25 But now, why should we die? This great fire will consume us, and we will die if we hear the voice of the Lord our God any longer.(D) 26 For what mortal has ever heard the voice of the living God speaking out of fire, as we have, and survived?(E)
