44 Now this is the law which Moses set before the sons of Israel; 45 these are the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments which Moses spoke to the sons of Israel when they came out from Egypt, 46 across the Jordan, in the valley (A)opposite Beth-peor, in the land of (B)Sihon king of the Amorites who lived at Heshbon, whom Moses and the sons of Israel struck down when they came out from Egypt. 47 And they took possession of his land and the land of (C)Og king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites, who were across the Jordan to the east toward the sunrise, 48 from (D)Aroer, which is on the edge of the [a]valley of Arnon, even as far as (E)Mount Sion (that is, Hermon), 49 with all the Arabah across the Jordan to the east, even as far as the sea of the Arabah, [b]at the foot of the slopes of Pisgah.

44 This is the law that Moses set before the people of Israel. 45 These are the testimonies, the statutes, and the rules, which Moses spoke to the people of Israel when they came out of Egypt, 46 beyond the Jordan (A)in the valley opposite Beth-peor, in the land of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon, (B)whom Moses and the people of Israel defeated when they came out of Egypt. 47 And they took possession of his land and the land (C)of Og, the king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites, who lived to the east beyond the Jordan; 48 (D)from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, as far as Mount (E)Sirion[a] (that is, (F)Hermon), 49 together with all the Arabah on the east side of the Jordan as far as (G)the Sea of the Arabah, under the slopes of Pisgah.
