37 And because [a]he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and hath brought thee out of Egypt in his sight by his mighty power,
38 To thrust out nations greater and mightier than thou, before thee, to bring thee in, and to give thee their land for inheritance: as appeareth this day.
39 Understand therefore this day, and consider in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none other.

37 And because (A)He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their [a]descendants after them; and (B)He brought you out of Egypt with His Presence, with His mighty power, 38 (C)driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land as an inheritance, as it is this day. 39 Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that (D)the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
