Deuteronomy 32:6-8

6 Do you thus (A)deal[a] with the Lord,
O foolish and unwise people?
Is He not (B)your Father, who (C)bought you?
Has He not (D)made you and established you?
7 “Remember(E) the days of old,
Consider the years of many generations.
(F)Ask your father, and he will show you;
Your elders, and they will tell you:
8 When the Most High (G)divided their inheritance to the nations,
When He (H)separated the sons of Adam,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
According to the number of the [b]children of Israel.

6 Do you thus repay the Lord,
you foolish and senseless people?
Is not he (A)your father, who (B)created you,
who (C)made you and established you?
7 (D)Remember the days of old;
consider the years of many generations;
(E)ask your father, and he will show you,
your elders, and they will tell you.
8 When the Most High (F)gave to the nations their inheritance,
when he (G)divided mankind,
he fixed the borders[a] of the peoples
according to the number of the sons of God.[b]

7 Gedenke der vorigen Zeit bis daher und betrachte, was er getan hat an den alten Vätern. Frage deinen Vater, der wird dir's verkündigen, deine Ältesten, die werden dir's sagen.
8 Da der Allerhöchste die Völker zerteilte und zerstreute der Menschen Kinder, da setzte er die Grenzen der Völker nach der Zahl der Kinder Israel.
