Deuteronomy 32:42-44

⁴² I will make my arrows drunk with blood,
    and ^(A)my sword shall devour flesh—
with the blood of the slain and the captives,
    from the ^(B)long-haired heads of the enemy.’
^43 (C)“Rejoice with him, O heavens;
    bow down to him, all gods,^[a]
for he ^(D)avenges the blood of his children^[b]
    and takes vengeance on his adversaries.
He repays those who hate him^[c]
    and cleanses^[d] his people's land.”^[e]
