The Altar on Mount Ebal
27 Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all these commands(A) that I give you today. 2 When you have crossed the Jordan(B) into the land the Lord your God is giving you, set up some large stones(C) and coat them with plaster.(D) 3 Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey,(E) just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you. 4 And when you have crossed the Jordan, set up these stones on Mount Ebal,(F) as I command you today, and coat them with plaster. 5 Build there an altar(G) to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool(H) on them. 6 Build the altar of the Lord your God with fieldstones and offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God. 7 Sacrifice fellowship offerings(I) there, eating them and rejoicing(J) in the presence of the Lord your God.(K) 8 And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones(L) you have set up.”(M)
Curses From Mount Ebal
9 Then Moses and the Levitical(N) priests said to all Israel, “Be silent, Israel, and listen! You have now become the people of the Lord your God.(O) 10 Obey the Lord your God and follow his commands and decrees that I give you today.”
11 On the same day Moses commanded the people:
12 When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim(P) to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar,(Q) Joseph and Benjamin.(R) 13 And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal(S) to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali.
14 The Levites shall recite to all the people of Israel in a loud voice:
15 “Cursed is anyone who makes an idol(T)—a thing detestable(U) to the Lord, the work of skilled hands—and sets it up in secret.”
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”(V)
16 “Cursed is anyone who dishonors their father or mother.”(W)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
17 “Cursed is anyone who moves their neighbor’s boundary stone.”(X)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
18 “Cursed is anyone who leads the blind astray on the road.”(Y)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
19 “Cursed is anyone who withholds justice from the foreigner,(Z) the fatherless or the widow.”(AA)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
20 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he dishonors his father’s bed.”(AB)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
21 “Cursed is anyone who has sexual relations with any animal.”(AC)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
22 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.”(AD)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
23 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his mother-in-law.”(AE)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
24 “Cursed is anyone who kills(AF) their neighbor secretly.”(AG)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
25 “Cursed is anyone who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.”(AH)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
26 “Cursed is anyone who does not uphold the words of this law by carrying them out.”(AI)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”(AJ)

27 Now Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, “Keep the whole commandment that I command you today. 2 And on the day (A)you cross over the Jordan to the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall set up large stones and plaster them with plaster. 3 (B)And you shall write on them all the words of this law, when you cross over to enter the land that the Lord your God is giving you, (C)a land flowing with milk and honey, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you. 4 And when you have crossed over the Jordan, you shall set up these stones, concerning which I command you today, (D)on Mount Ebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster. 5 And there you shall build an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. (E)You shall wield no iron tool on them; 6 you shall build an altar to the Lord your God of uncut[a] stones. And you shall offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God, 7 and you shall sacrifice peace offerings and (F)shall eat there, and you (G)shall rejoice before the Lord your God. 8 And (H)you shall write on the stones all the words of this law very plainly.”
Curses from Mount Ebal
9 Then Moses and the Levitical priests said to all Israel, “Keep silence and hear, O Israel: (I)this day you have become the people of the Lord your God. 10 You shall therefore obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping his commandments and his statutes, which I command you today.”
11 That day Moses charged the people, saying, 12 “When you have crossed over the Jordan, (J)these shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin. 13 And these shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. 14 And (K)the Levites shall declare to all the men of Israel in a loud voice:
15 (L)“‘Cursed be the man who makes a carved or cast metal image, an abomination to the Lord, a thing made by the hands of a craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’ (M)And all the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’
16 (N)“‘Cursed be anyone who dishonors his father or his mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
17 (O)“‘Cursed be anyone who moves his neighbor's landmark.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
18 (P)“‘Cursed be anyone who misleads a blind man on the road.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
19 (Q)“‘Cursed be anyone who perverts the justice due to the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
20 (R)“‘Cursed be anyone who lies with his father's wife, because he has (S)uncovered his father's nakedness.’[b] And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
21 (T)“‘Cursed be anyone who lies with any kind of animal.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
22 (U)“‘Cursed be anyone who lies with his sister, whether the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
23 (V)“‘Cursed be anyone who lies with his mother-in-law.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
24 (W)“‘Cursed be anyone who strikes down his neighbor in secret.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

26 (Y)“‘Cursed be anyone who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

13 “鲁本、迦得、亚设、西布伦、但、拿弗他利六个支派的人都要站在以巴路山上宣布咒诅。 14 利未人要向以色列众人高声说: 15 ‘有人制造耶和华所憎恶的偶像,或雕刻,或铸造,就是工匠手所做的,在暗中设立,那人必受咒诅。’百姓都要答应说:‘阿门!’
16 “‘轻慢父母的,必受咒诅。’百姓都要说:‘阿门!’
17 “‘挪移邻舍地界的,必受咒诅。’百姓都要说:‘阿门!’
18 “‘使瞎子走差路的,必受咒诅。’百姓都要说:‘阿门!’

27 Moisés y los jefes ancianos de Israel dieron al pueblo esta orden: «Cumple todos estos mandamientos que hoy te entrego. 2 Después de cruzar el Jordán y de entrar en la tierra que el Señor tu Dios te da, levantarás unas piedras grandes, las revocarás con cal 3 y escribirás sobre ellas todas las palabras de esta ley. Esto lo harás después de cruzar el Jordán y de entrar en la tierra que el Señor tu Dios te da, tierra donde abundan la leche y la miel, tal como el Señor tu Dios se lo prometió a tus antepasados. 4 Cuando hayas cruzado el Jordán, colocarás esas piedras sobre el monte Ebal y las cubrirás con cal, tal como te lo ordeno hoy. 5 Edificarás allí un altar de piedra en honor al Señor tu Dios, pero no con piedras labradas con instrumentos de hierro, sino con piedras enteras, 6 porque el altar del Señor deberá construirse con piedras del campo. Quemarás sobre él holocaustos al Señor tu Dios; 7 ofrecerás allí sacrificios de comunión, los comerás y te regocijarás en la presencia del Señor tu Dios. 8 Sobre las piedras de ese altar escribirás claramente todas las palabras de esta ley».
Maldiciones desde el monte Ebal
9 Entonces Moisés y los sacerdotes levitas dijeron a todo Israel: «¡Guarda silencio, Israel, y escucha! Hoy te has convertido en el pueblo del Señor tu Dios. 10 Obedece al Señor tu Dios y cumple los mandamientos y estatutos que hoy te mando».
11 Ese mismo día Moisés ordenó al pueblo:
12 Cuando hayan cruzado el Jordán, las siguientes tribus estarán sobre el monte Guerizín para bendecir al pueblo: Simeón, Leví, Judá, Isacar, José y Benjamín. 13 Sobre el monte Ebal estarán estas otras, para pronunciar las maldiciones: Rubén, Gad, Aser, Zabulón, Dan y Neftalí.
14 Los levitas tomarán la palabra y en voz alta dirán a todo el pueblo de Israel:
15 «Maldito sea quien haga una imagen, ya sea tallada en madera o fundida en metal, y la ponga en un lugar secreto. Es creación de las manos de un artífice y por lo tanto es detestable al Señor».
Y todo el pueblo dirá: «¡Amén!».
16 «Maldito sea quien deshonre a su padre o a su madre».
Y todo el pueblo dirá: «¡Amén!».
17 «Maldito sea quien altere los límites de la propiedad de su prójimo».
Y todo el pueblo dirá: «¡Amén!».
18 «Maldito sea quien desvíe de su camino a un ciego».
