Deuteronomy 16:20-22

20 Justice, only justice[a] you shall pursue, so that you may live, and you shall take possession of the land that Yahweh your God is giving to you. 21 You shall not plant for yourselves[b] an Asherah pole[c] beside the altar of Yahweh your God that you make for yourselves.[d] 22 And you shall not set up for yourselves a stone pillar, a thing that Yahweh your God hates.

20 Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.

21 Do not set up any wooden Asherah pole(A) beside the altar you build to the Lord your God,(B) 22 and do not erect a sacred stone,(C) for these the Lord your God hates.
