¹³ “And it will be that, ^(A)if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, ^(B)to love Yahweh your God and to serve Him ^(C)with all your heart and all your soul, ¹⁴ that ^[a](D)I, Yahweh, will give the rain for your land in its season, the ^[b](E)early and ^[c]late rains, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. ^15 (F)And ^[d]I will give ^[e]grass in your fields for your cattle, and ^(G)you will eat and be satisfied. ^16 [f](H)Beware lest your hearts be deceived, and you turn away and serve other gods and worship them, ¹⁷ and ^(I)the anger of Yahweh will be kindled against you, and He will ^(J)shut up the heavens ^(K)so that there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its fruit; and ^(L)you will perish quickly from the good land which Yahweh is giving you.
