Deuteronomy 11:26-32

26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I am commanding you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn from the way that I am commanding you today, to follow other gods that you have not known.
29 When the Lord your God has brought you into the land that you are entering to occupy, you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal. 30 As you know, they are beyond the Jordan, some distance to the west, in the land of the Canaanites who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, beside the oak[a] of Moreh.
31 When you cross the Jordan to go in to occupy the land that the Lord your God is giving you, and when you occupy it and live in it, 32 you must diligently observe all the statutes and ordinances that I am setting before you today.

26 (A)«Guardate, io metto oggi davanti a voi la benedizione e la maledizione: 27 la benedizione se ubbidite ai comandamenti del Signore vostro Dio, che oggi vi do; 28 la maledizione, se non ubbidite ai comandamenti del Signore vostro Dio, e se vi allontanate dalla via che oggi vi ordino, per andare dietro a dèi stranieri che voi non avete mai conosciuto. 29 Quando il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti avrà fatto entrare nel paese nel quale vai per prenderne possesso, tu pronuncerai la benedizione sul monte Gherizim, e la maledizione sul monte Ebal. 30 Questi monti non sono forse di là dal Giordano, oltre la via di ponente, nel paese dei Cananei che abitano nella pianura di fronte a Ghilgal presso le querce di More? 31 Poiché voi vi accingete a passare il Giordano per andare a prendere possesso del paese, che il Signore, il vostro Dio, vi dà; voi lo possederete e vi abiterete. 32 Abbiate dunque cura di mettere in pratica tutte le leggi e le prescrizioni che oggi io metto davanti a voi.

27 den Segen, wenn ihr den Geboten des Herrn, eures Gottes, gehorsam seid, die ich euch heute gebiete;
28 den Fluch aber, wenn ihr den Geboten des Herrn, eures Gottes, nicht gehorsam sein werdet und von dem Weg, den ich euch heute gebiete, abweicht, sodass ihr anderen Göttern nachfolgt, die ihr nicht kennt.
29 Und wenn dich der Herr, dein Gott, in das Land bringt, in das du kommst, um es in Besitz zu nehmen, so sollst du den Segen auf dem Berg Garizim erteilen und den Fluch auf dem Berg Ebal.
30 Sind sie nicht jenseits des Jordan, bei der Straße gegen Sonnenuntergang, im Land der Kanaaniter, die in der Ebene wohnen, Gilgal gegenüber, bei den Terebinthen Mores?
31 Denn ihr zieht über den Jordan, um hineinzukommen und das Land in Besitz zu nehmen, das euch der Herr, euer Gott, geben will; und ihr werdet es in Besitz nehmen und darin wohnen.
32 So achtet nun darauf, dass ihr alle Satzungen und Rechtsbestimmungen tut, die ich euch heute vorlege!

26 Most jól figyeljetek rám! Két utat mutatok nektek. Választanotok kell az áldás és az átok között! 27 Ha engedelmeskedtek Istenünk, az Örökkévaló parancsainak, amelyekre ma tanítalak benneteket — akkor az áldást választottátok. 28 Annak a földnek a lakói olyan isteneket imádnak, akiket ti nem ismertek. Ha nem engedelmeskedtek Istenünk, az Örökkévaló parancsainak, és letértek arról az útról, amelyet ma mutattam nektek, s ha azokat az idegen isteneket fogjátok imádni és követni, akkor az átkot választottátok!
29 Amikor majd Istenünk, az Örökkévaló bevisz titeket arra a földre, amelyet most készültök birtokba venni, hirdessétek ki az áldásokat a Garizim-hegy csúcsáról, az átkokat pedig az Ébál-hegy tetejéről! 30 Ott emelkedik ez a két hegy a Jordán nyugati partján, a kánaániak országában, akik a Jordán völgyében laknak a Gilgállal szemben lévő síkságon, Móré tölgyese közelében. 31 Hamarosan át fogtok kelni a Jordánon, hogy bemenjetek arra a földre, és birtokba vegyétek, mert Istenünk, az Örökkévaló adta nektek azt. Birtokba is veszitek, és ott fogtok élni, 32 de jól vigyázzatok, hogy akkor is megtartsátok az egész törvényt és annak minden rendelkezését, amelyet ma helyezek elétek!

26 Ecoutez, je propose aujourd’hui à votre choix la bénédiction et la malédiction : 27 la bénédiction si vous obéissez aux commandements de l’Eternel votre Dieu, ceux que je vous donne aujourd’hui ; 28 ou la malédiction, si vous n’obéissez pas aux commandements de l’Eternel votre Dieu, et si vous vous écartez de la voie que je vous trace moi-même aujourd’hui, pour vous rallier à d’autres dieux que vous ne connaissez pas.
29 Quand l’Eternel votre Dieu vous aura fait entrer dans le pays où vous vous rendez pour en prendre possession, vous prononcerez la bénédiction sur le mont Garizim et la malédiction sur le mont Ebal[a]. 30 Ces deux sommets se trouvent au-delà du Jourdain, de l’autre côté de la route de l’occident[b], au pays des Cananéens qui habitent dans la plaine de la vallée du Jourdain, face à Guilgal[c], près des chênes de Moré. 31 Car vous allez bientôt franchir le Jourdain pour aller à la conquête du pays que l’Eternel votre Dieu vous donne.
