¹⁸ He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow,^(A) and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.^(B)

¹⁰ Do not oppress the widow^(A) or the fatherless, the foreigner^(B) or the poor.^(C) Do not plot evil against each other.’^(D)

²⁷ Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after^(A) orphans and widows^(B) in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.^(C)
