⁹ Know therefore that the Lord your God, ^(A)He is God, ^(B)the faithful God, ^(C)who keeps ^[a]His covenant and ^[b]His faithfulness to a thousand generations for those who ^(D)love Him and keep His commandments;

^9 (A)God is faithful, through whom you were ^(B)called into ^(C)fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹³ No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and ^(A)God is faithful, ^[a]so He will not allow you to be ^(B)tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
