⁴ “^(A)Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the ^(B)Lord is one!

¹⁶ “O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, ^(A)who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the ^(B)God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. ^(C)You have made heaven and earth.

⁶ “Thus says the Lord, the ^(A)King of Israel and his ^(B)Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:

²⁹ Jesus answered, “The foremost is, ‘^(A)Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord;

⁴ Therefore concerning the eating of ^(A)things sacrificed to idols, we know that ^[a]there is ^(B)no such thing as an idol in the world, and that ^(C)there is no God but one.
