^14 (A)You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you,

⁶ if you do not oppress the alien, the ^[a](A)orphan, or the widow, and do not shed ^(B)innocent blood in this place, nor ^(C)walk after other gods to your own ruin,

¹⁰ This wicked people, who ^(A)refuse to listen to My words, who ^(B)walk in the stubbornness of their hearts and have gone after other gods to serve them and to bow down to them, let them be just like this waistband which is totally worthless.

⁶ and ^(A)do not go after other gods to ^[a]serve them and to ^[b]worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will do you no harm.’
