^14 (A)You shall not walk after other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you,

³⁵ with whom Yahweh cut a covenant and commanded them, saying, “^(A)You shall not fear other gods, nor ^(B)worship them nor ^(C)serve them nor sacrifice to them.

⁶ and ^(A)do not walk after other gods to ^[a]serve them and to ^[b]worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the work of your hands, and I will bring no evil against you.’

¹⁵ Also I have sent to you all My ^(A)slaves the prophets, rising up early and sending, saying: ‘^(B)Turn now every man from his evil way and make good your deeds, and ^(C)do not walk after other gods to ^[a]serve them. Then you will ^(D)inhabit the land which I have given to you and to your fathers; but you have not ^(E)inclined your ear or listened to Me.
