13 (A)You shall [a]fear only the Lord your God; and you shall [b]worship Him and (B)swear by His name. 14 (C)You shall not follow other gods, any of the gods of the peoples who surround you, 15 for the Lord your God in the midst of you is a (D)jealous God; otherwise the anger of the Lord your God will be kindled against you, and He will [c]wipe you off the face of the earth.

13 Fear the Lord(A) your God, serve him only(B) and take your oaths(C) in his name.(D) 14 Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you; 15 for the Lord your God(E), who is among you, is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land.
