¹⁵ Jeshurun^[a](A) grew fat^(B) and kicked;
    filled with food, they became heavy and sleek.
They abandoned^(C) the God who made them
    and rejected the Rock^(D) their Savior.

⁹ Otherwise, I may have too much and disown^(A) you
    and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’^(B)
Or I may become poor and steal,
    and so dishonor the name of my God.^(C)

⁶ When I fed them, they were satisfied;
    when they were satisfied, they became proud;^(A)
    then they forgot^(B) me.^(C)
