33 (A)You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and (B)that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.

The Greatest Commandment

“Now this is (C)the commandment—the statutes and the rules[a]—that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going over, to possess it, that (D)you may fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son's son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and (E)that your days may be long. Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them, that it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, (F)as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.

“Hear, O Israel: (G)The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[b] You (H)shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

33 Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you,(A) so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days(B) in the land that you will possess.

Love the Lord Your God

These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children and their children after them may fear(C) the Lord your God as long as you live(D) by keeping all his decrees and commands(E) that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.(F) Hear, Israel, and be careful to obey(G) so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly(H) in a land flowing with milk and honey,(I) just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised(J) you.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a](K) Love(L) the Lord your God with all your heart(M) and with all your soul and with all your strength.(N)
