Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.

¹⁷ Why, O Lord, do You ^(A)cause us to stray from Your ways
And ^(B)harden our heart from fearing You?
^(C)Return for the sake of Your servants, the tribes of Your heritage.

¹⁶ The ^(A)portion of Jacob is not like these;
For the ^[a](B)Maker of all is He,
And ^(C)Israel is the tribe of His inheritance;
The ^(D)Lord of hosts is His name.
