²⁴ And it happened, when Moses finished writing the words of this law in a book until they were complete, ²⁵ that Moses commanded the Levites ^(A)who carried the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, saying, ²⁶ “Take this book of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God, that it may be there as a witness against you.

Hilkiah Finds the Book of the Law

¹⁴ When they were taking out the money which had been brought into the house of Yahweh, ^(A)Hilkiah the priest found the book of the law of Yahweh given by the hand of Moses. ¹⁵ So Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the book of the law in the house of Yahweh.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan.
