^19 (A)I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, ^(B)the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your seed, ^20 (C)by loving Yahweh your God, by listening to His voice, and ^(D)by holding fast to Him; ^(E)for ^[a]this is your life and the length of your days, ^[b]that you may live in ^(F)the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

⁴⁶ and he said to them, “^(A)Place in your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command ^(B)your sons to be careful to do, even all the words of this law. ⁴⁷ For it is not an idle word for you; indeed ^(C)it is your life. And ^(D)by this word you will prolong your days in the land, ^[a]which you are about to cross the Jordan to ^[b]possess.”
