²⁷ Go up to the top of ^(A)Pisgah and lift up your eyes to the west and north and south and east, and see it with your eyes, ^(B)for you shall not cross over this Jordan.

The Death of Moses

34 ^(A)Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And Yahweh ^(B)showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan, ² and all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah as far as the ^[a](C)western sea, ³ and the ^[b]Negev and the plain in the valley of Jericho, ^(D)the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. ⁴ Then Yahweh said to him, “This is the land which ^(E)I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your seed’; I have let you see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.”
