Deuteronomy 3:25-27

New International Version

²⁵Let me go over and see the good land^(A) beyond the Jordan—that fine hill country and Lebanon.^(B)”

²⁶But because of you the Lord was angry^(C) with me and would not listen to me. “That is enough,” the Lord said. “Do not speak to me anymore about this matter. ²⁷Go up to the top of Pisgah^(D) and look west and north and south and east.^(E) Look at the land with your own eyes, since you are not going to cross^(F) this Jordan.^(G)

²⁶But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

²⁷Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
