2 [a]And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them, “You have seen all that the Lord did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and all his servants, and to all his land; 3 (A)the great trials which your eyes have seen, those great signs and wonders. 4 Yet to this day (B)the Lord has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear. 5 And I have led you in the wilderness for forty years; (C)your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandal has not worn out on your foot. 6 (D)You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or other strong drink, in order that you might know that I am the Lord your God. 7 (E)When you [b]reached this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon and Og the king of Bashan came out to meet us for battle, but we [c]defeated them; 8 and we took their land and (F)gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites.

Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn off your feet. 6 (E)You have not eaten bread, and you have not drunk wine or strong drink, that you may know that I am the Lord your God. 7 And when you came to this place, (F)Sihon the king of Heshbon and Og the king of Bashan came out against us to battle, but we defeated them. 8 We took their land and (G)gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites.

Your eyes have seen all that the Lord did in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials and to all his land.(A) 3 With your own eyes you saw those great trials, those signs and great wonders.(B) 4 But to this day the Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear.(C) 5 Yet the Lord says, “During the forty years that I led(D) you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet.(E) 6 You ate no bread and drank no wine or other fermented drink.(F) I did this so that you might know that I am the Lord your God.”(G)
