Deuteronomy 23:19-21
The Voice
19 You may not charge interest to a fellow Israelite who borrows money or food or anything else you could charge interest for. 20 You may charge foreigners interest, but you may not charge interest to your fellow Israelites. If you follow these instructions, the Eternal your God will bless you in everything you do in the land where you’re going to live when you cross the Jordan.
21 When you make a vow to the Eternal, your True God, pay it promptly. He will be looking for you to fulfill your promise; and if you don’t, it will be a sin.
Deuteronomy 23:19-21
New International Version
19 Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest.(A) 20 You may charge a foreigner(B) interest, but not a fellow Israelite, so that the Lord your God may bless(C) you in everything you put your hand to in the land you are entering to possess.
21 If you make a vow to the Lord your God, do not be slow to pay it,(D) for the Lord your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of sin.(E)
