Those Who May Not Enter the Assembly

23 “^(A)No one who is ^[a]emasculated or has his male organ cut off shall enter the assembly of Yahweh.

⁷ But ^(A)Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, ^[a]a ^(B)eunuch, while he was in the king’s palace, heard that they had put Jeremiah into the cistern. Now the king was sitting in the ^(C)Gate of Benjamin;

²⁷ So he rose up and went; and behold, ^(A)there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he ^(B)had come to Jerusalem to worship,
