13 ‘Now rise up and go over (A)the brook Zered.’ So we went over (B)the brook Zered. 14 And the time from our leaving (C)Kadesh-barnea until we crossed (D)the brook Zered was thirty-eight years, (E)until the entire generation, that is, the men of war, had perished from the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them. 15 For indeed the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from the camp, until they had perished.

13 And the Lord said, “Now get up and cross the Zered Valley.(A)” So we crossed the valley.
14 Thirty-eight years(B) passed from the time we left Kadesh Barnea(C) until we crossed the Zered Valley. By then, that entire generation(D) of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them.(E) 15 The Lord’s hand was against them until he had completely eliminated(F) them from the camp.
