12 The Lord your God hates people who do these disgusting things, and that is why he is driving those nations out of the land as you advance. 13 (A)Be completely faithful to the Lord.”

14 Then Moses said, “In the land you are about to occupy, people follow the advice of those who practice divination and look for omens, but the Lord your God does not allow you to do this.

New International Version
12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.(A) 13 You must be blameless(B) before the Lord your God.(C)
The Prophet
14 The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination.(D) But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so.
