⁸but ^(A)you shall freely open your hand to him and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.

New International Version

⁸Rather, be openhanded^(A) and freely lend them whatever they need.

²¹The wicked borrows and does not pay back,
But the righteous ^(A)is gracious and gives.

²¹The wicked borrow and do not repay,
but the righteous give generously;^(A)
