21 “You shall not eat anything that dies of itself; you may give it to the alien who is within your towns, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a people holy to the Lord your God.
“You shall not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.
Regulations concerning Tithes
22 “You shall tithe all the yield of your seed, which comes forth from the field year by year. 23 And before the Lord your God, in the place which he will choose, to make his name dwell there, you shall eat the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and flock; that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always.

New International Version
21 Do not eat anything you find already dead.(A) You may give it to the foreigner residing in any of your towns, and they may eat it, or you may sell it to any other foreigner. But you are a people holy to the Lord your God.(B)
Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.(C)
Tithes
22 Be sure to set aside a tenth(D) of all that your fields produce each year. 23 Eat(E) the tithe of your grain, new wine(F) and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name,(G) so that you may learn(H) to revere(I) the Lord your God always.
