⁵ But ^(A)that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. ^(B)So you shall ^[a]put away the evil from your midst.

⁷ The hands of the witnesses shall be the first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall put away the evil from among ^(A)you.

¹² Now ^(A)the man who acts presumptuously and will not heed the priest who stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall put away the evil from Israel.

^19 (A)then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother; so ^(B)you shall put away the evil from among you.

²¹ Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones; ^(A)so you shall put away the evil from among you, ^(B)and all Israel shall hear and fear.

²¹ then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with ^(A)stones, because she has ^(B)done a disgraceful thing in Israel, to play the harlot in her father’s house. ^(C)So you shall ^[a]put away the evil from among you.

²⁴ then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry out in the city, and the man because he ^(A)humbled his neighbor’s wife; ^(B)so you shall put away the evil from among you.

⁷ “If a man is ^(A)found ^[a]kidnapping any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and mistreats him or sells him, then that kidnapper shall die; ^(B)and you shall put away the evil from among you.

^2 (A)And you are ^[a]puffed up, and have not rather ^(B)mourned, that he who has done this deed might be taken away from among you.
