“Yahweh our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying,[d] ‘You have stayed long enough[e] at this mountain. Turn now and move on,[f] and go into the hill of the Amorites[g] and to all of the neighboring regions[h] in the Jordan Valley[i] in the hill country and in the Negev and in the coastal area along the sea, into the land of the Canaanites[j] and into the Lebanon, as far as the great river Euphrates. Look, I have set the land before you;[k] go and take possession of the land that Yahweh swore to your ancestors,[l] to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it to them and to their offspring after them.’

Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites;(E) go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah,(F) in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev(G) and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites(H) and to Lebanon,(I) as far as the great river, the Euphrates.(J) See, I have given you this land(K).(L) Go in and take possession of the land the Lord swore(M) he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them.”
