31 and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried(A) you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.”(B)
Deuteronomy 32:10-12

10 He found him in a desolate land,
in a barren, howling wilderness;
He surrounded him, cared for him,
and protected him as the pupil of His eye.(A)
11 He watches over[a] His nest like an eagle
and hovers over His young;
He spreads His wings, catches him,
and lifts him up on His pinions.(B)
12 The Lord alone led him,
with no help from a foreign god.[b]
