New International Version

¹⁶They made him jealous^(A) with their foreign gods
and angered^(B) him with their detestable idols.

¹⁶They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

¹⁶They made Him jealous with strange gods. They made Him angry with hated things.
