²³Breng dat tiende deel van jullie graan, wijn en olijf-olie, samen met de eerstgeboren dieren van jullie koeien, schapen en geiten, naar de plaats die jullie Heer God zal uitkiezen om te wonen. Maak van die tienden een feestmaaltijd klaar en eet die op. Zo zullen jullie leren om je leven lang diep ontzag te hebben voor de Heer God.
