^18 (A)Who is a God like you, ^(B)pardoning iniquity
    and passing over transgression
    ^(C)for the remnant of his inheritance?
^(D)He does not retain his anger forever,
    because he delights in steadfast love.
¹⁹ He will ^(E)again have compassion on us;
    ^(F)he will tread our iniquities underfoot.
^(G)You will cast all our^[a] sins
    into the depths of the sea.

²¹ Do not spurn us, ^(A)for your name's sake;
    do not dishonor your glorious throne;
    ^(B)remember and do not break your covenant with us.

²⁴ You have not bought me sweet cane with money,
    or satisfied me with the fat of your sacrifices.
But you have burdened me with your sins;
    you have wearied me with your iniquities.

¹² The Righteous One ^(A)observes the house of the wicked;
    he throws the wicked down to ruin.

⁸ and that they should not be ^(A)like their fathers,
    ^(B)a stubborn and rebellious generation,
a generation ^(C)whose heart was not steadfast,
    whose spirit was not faithful to God.
