Deuteronomy 8:10-13

¹⁰When you have eaten and are satisfied,^(A) praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. ¹¹Be careful that you do not forget^(B) the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. ¹²Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,^(C) ¹³and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied,

¹⁰When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

¹¹Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

¹²Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;
