¹⁰ When you have eaten and are satisfied,^(A) praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.

⁶ Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God;^(A) and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

¹⁴ “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?^(A) Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.^(B)

⁴ For everything God created is good,^(A) and nothing is to be rejected^(B) if it is received with thanksgiving, ⁵ because it is consecrated by the word of God^(C) and prayer.

¹⁹ And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves.^(A) Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.

¹¹ houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig,^(A) and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied,^{(B) 12} be careful that you do not forget^(C) the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

³¹ So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.^(A)

²³ Then some boats from Tiberias^(A) landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.^(B)
