²³ But the Lord your God will deliver them over to you, throwing them into great confusion until they are destroyed.^(A)

⁹ They will be punished with everlasting destruction^(A) and shut out from the presence of the Lord^(B) and from the glory of his might^(C)

³ But be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes across ahead of you^(A) like a devouring fire.^(B) He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly,^(C) as the Lord has promised you.

²⁰ Like the nations^(A) the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God.^(B)

¹⁵ The Lord’s hand was against them until he had completely eliminated^(A) them from the camp.
