⁵ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.^(A)

The Essence of the Law

¹² “So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,^(A)

⁶ “Moreover, the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, in order that you may live.^(A)

³ For the love of God is this, that we obey his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome,^(A)

²⁹ From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul.^(A)

¹³ “If you will only heed his every commandment^[a] that I am commanding you today—loving the Lord your God and serving him with all your heart and with all your soul^(A)—

²⁰ On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.^{(A) 21} They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me, and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them.”^(B)
