¹⁸ Do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, so that it may go well with you and so that you may go in and occupy the good land that the Lord swore to your ancestors,^(A)

⁴⁰ Keep his statutes and his commandments, which I am commanding you today for your own well-being and that of your descendants after you, so that you may long remain in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”^(A)

²⁵ Do not eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, because you do what is right in the sight of the Lord.^(A)

² Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.^[a](A)

²⁹ If only they had such a mind as this, to fear me and to keep all my commandments always, so that it might go well with them and with their children forever!^(A)

²⁹ And the one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.”^(A)

¹⁹ And when the wicked turn from their wickedness and do what is lawful and right, they shall live by it.^[a]
