^15 (A)You shall remember that you were a slave^[a] in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there ^(B)with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

^6 (A)“‘I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

^12 (A)You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall be careful to observe these statutes.

^15 (A)You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today.

^19 (B)“When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, ^(C)that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. ²⁰ When you beat your olive trees, you shall not go over them again. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow. ²¹ When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not strip it afterward. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow. ^22 (D)You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; therefore I command you to do this.

^14 (A)who gave himself for us to ^(B)redeem us from all lawlessness and ^(C)to purify for himself ^(D)a people for his own possession who are ^(E)zealous for good works.

One in Christ

¹¹ Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called “the uncircumcision” by what is called ^(A)the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands— ¹² remember ^(B)that you were at that time separated from Christ, ^(C)alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to ^(D)the covenants of promise, ^(E)having no hope and without God in the world.
