²⁷ The Lord will scatter^(A) you among the peoples, and only a few of you will survive^(B) among the nations to which the Lord will drive you.

⁶² You who were as numerous as the stars in the sky^(A) will be left but few^(B) in number, because you did not obey the Lord your God. ⁶³ Just as it pleased^(C) the Lord to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please^(D) him to ruin and destroy you.^(E) You will be uprooted^(F) from the land you are entering to possess.

⁶⁴ Then the Lord will scatter^(G) you among all nations,^(H) from one end of the earth to the other.^(I) There you will worship other gods—gods of wood and stone, which neither you nor your ancestors have known.^(J)

³³ I will scatter^(A) you among the nations^(B) and will draw out my sword^(C) and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste,^(D) and your cities will lie in ruins.^(E)

²⁶ “Meshek and Tubal^(A) are there, with all their hordes around their graves. All of them are uncircumcised, killed by the sword because they spread their terror in the land of the living.

¹⁵ “They will know that I am the Lord, when I disperse them among the nations^(A) and scatter them through the countries.

³ They said to me, “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.^(A)”
