¹⁸ And you took your embroidered clothes to put on them, and you offered my oil and incense^(A) before them. ¹⁹ Also the food I provided for you—the flour, olive oil and honey I gave you to eat—you offered as fragrant incense before them. That is what happened, declares the Sovereign Lord.^(B)

¹⁴ Go and cry out to the gods you have chosen. Let them save^(A) you when you are in trouble!^(B)”

²¹ No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect^(A) is to come near to present the food offerings to the Lord.^(B) He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God.^(C)
