^13 (A)He made him ride on the high places of the land,
    and he ate the produce of the field,
and he suckled him with ^(B)honey out of the rock,
    and ^(C)oil out of ^(D)the flinty rock.

¹⁴ then you shall take delight in the Lord,
    ^(A)and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;^[a]
(B)I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
    ^(C)for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

⁶ when my steps were ^(A)washed with ^(B)butter,
    and ^(C)the rock poured out for me streams of ^(D)oil!

¹⁶ But he would feed you^[a] with ^(A)the finest of the wheat,
    and with ^(B)honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

²⁹ Happy are you, O Israel! ^(A)Who is like you,
    a people ^(B)saved by the Lord,
^(C)the shield of your help,
    and the sword of your triumph!
Your enemies shall come fawning to you,
    and you shall tread upon their backs.”

^21 (A)They did not thirst when he led them through the deserts;
    ^(B)he made water flow for them from the rock;
    he split the rock and the water gushed out.
