² and you ^(A)return to the Lord your God and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul,

A Call to Repentance

^9 (A)but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, ^(B)though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.’

²⁸ And ^(A)there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, ^(B)which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. ^29 (C)But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. ³⁰ When you are in ^[a]distress, and all these things come upon you in the ^(D)latter days, when you ^(E)turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice ³¹ (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor ^(F)destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

⁹ If we ^(A)confess our sins, He is ^(B)faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to ^(C)cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

²⁴ Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

¹⁶ Nevertheless ^(A)when one turns to the Lord, ^(B)the veil is taken away.

Mourning for the Pierced One

^10 (A)“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will ^(B)look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him ^(C)as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
