¹⁰ when you obey the Lord your God by observing his commandments and decrees that are written in this book of the law, because you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

⁹ but if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, though your outcasts are under the farthest skies, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place where I have chosen to establish my name.’^(A)

⁸ Then you shall again obey the Lord, observing all his commandments that I am commanding you today,

² and return to the Lord your God, and you and your children obey him with all your heart and with all your soul, just as I am commanding you today,^(A)

²⁹ From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul.^(A)

¹⁹ Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but obeying the commandments of God is everything.^(A)

²⁰ but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout the countryside of Judea, and also to the gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God and do deeds consistent with repentance.^(A)

¹⁹ Repent, therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out,
